Frequently asked questions

How is my first visit going?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the massage starts to allow time to change, calm down and use the shower if necessary. We will welcome you at the reception, answer any questions and help you choose the right type of massage for your needs and health condition. The masseuse will briefly ask you about any pressure preferences or areas to focus on before starting.

When is it not advisable to have a massage?

Massage is not suitable in case of fever, infectious diseases, viruses, acute inflammations or if you feel unwell. It is also not recommended for fresh injuries, fractures or serious cancer. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or give us a call - we will be happy to advise you.

Can massage be painful?

Some massages, especially for the first treatment, can be slightly uncomfortable due to muscle stiffness. If the massage is done correctly, the pain should never be significant or uncomfortable. We always recommend that you communicate with your masseuse and let her know if anything is not comfortable. The intensity of the pressure can be adjusted during the treatment.

How often do you recommend getting a massage?

The recommended frequency depends on your needs. For normal relaxation we recommend a massage once every 2-4 weeks. If you suffer from back pain, migraines, insomnia or stress, you can have massages more frequently. Regular care helps keep the body and mind in balance.

What are the benefits of regular massage?

Regular massage helps reduce stress, improves blood circulation, promotes detoxification of the body and increases overall physical and mental well-being. It also helps with chronic back pain, muscle tension or migraines.

Does massage help with insomnia?

Yes, relaxing massages help to calm the nervous system and improve the quality of sleep. Regular visits can help create a healthier sleep rhythm and lessen the effects of stress, which is often behind sleep disorders.

Is a reservation required or can I come without an appointment?

Booking is recommended, especially if you wish to have a massage on a specific day or time. We are happy to accept you without an appointment if there is availability, but dates tend to fill up quickly.

Can I come for a massage with my partner or a friend?

Yes, we also offer couples massages, which take place in a shared massage room. It is a wonderful experience that you can enjoy together. When booking, please indicate that you are interested in a couples massage.

Do you offer gift vouchers for massages?

Are there any rules to follow before the massage?

Yes, we recommend not overeating - ideally the last large meal should be eaten at least an hour before the massage. Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day. If you suffer from any ailments, it is a good idea to inform us. We also recommend that you put away all jewellery and switch off your mobile phone to enjoy the treatment to the full.

What to put away before the massage?

Please remove all jewellery and watches before the massage. Disposable underwear and towels are provided in the room. If you have booked a traditional Thai massage, you will find comfortable clothing ready to wear.

Can I use the shower before the massage?

Yes, showers are fully available in our salon. We recommend using them before your massage, especially for oil and aromatherapy treatments, to make the experience as pleasant as possible. Clean skin also absorbs massage oils and essences better.

How to prepare mentally for a massage?

Come with an open mind and leave all your worries at the door. During the massage, try to relax and focus on your breath. Close your eyes and allow yourself to relax - deep relaxation is part of the process. If you feel discomfort, say so - we are here for you.

What rules apply during a massage?

It is important to remain calm and quiet during the massage. Turn off your mobile phone or set it to silent mode without vibration. You can ask the masseuse to adjust the intensity of the touch at any time by simply saying 'SOFT' for a softer massage or 'STRONG' for a more intense massage. We welcome feedback - we want you to feel as comfortable as possible.

What if I'm allergic to oils or fragrances?

Please inform us in advance. We offer hypoallergenic, fragrance-free oils and will customize the massage to make it as safe and enjoyable as possible for you.

What clothes to bring?

You do not need to wear special clothes for most massages. We provide everything you need on site, from robes to disposable underwear. For a traditional Thai massage, we will lend you special massage equipment.
